Preheat oven to 425°F.
Mix olive oil, garlic, herbs, paprika, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
Pat chicken dry and coat with marinade.
Marinate 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Arrange chicken skin-side up on baking sheet.
Add potatoes around chicken if using.
Roast 35–45 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F.
Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
